Men's outdoor training for the 2008 Ford Soccer Club outdoor season has a new venue.

Training will take place at Warrendale Park located between Warren Avenue and Hines Drive in Dearborn Heights. The exact location can be seen here. Please remember that if Hines Drive is closed due to weather, you should enter the park off Warren Avenue.

Training takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm and is open to all comers.

Men's Tryouts

Men's tryouts have now been completed and the squads have been selected for the upcoming season. Use the menu options above to navigate to the Men's Outdoor teams for full details of the squads, schedules and fees.

Thank you to all of you who attended tryouts this year. Congratulations to those of you selected and good luck for the season.

As is always the case, we had a very good turnout which can make player selection extremely difficult. It is no small task to try to assess players accurately when only given four evenings of tryouts before squads have to be submitted to their respective leagues. Invariably there will be players not selected that have slipped through the cracks in the tryout system.

Every year we have players who have to drop out of a team whether it be injury, relocation or any number of other reasons. Therefore, even if you have not been selected this time we encourage you to attend practice on Tuesday evenings. It is open to all and offers you the opportunity give the managers a greater opportunity to see you play.

In the event a player does have to withdraw from a team mid-season managers will be looking to replace that player.

Women's Tryouts

Women's tryouts will take place on May 1^st and 8^th. This year's venue is Sheldon Road in Plymouth. Tryouts will run from 5:30pm to 7:00pm/7:30pm. In order to attend, please note the following instructions:

• Register so that we have your details to hand during the tryouts.
• Note down the venue and times and attend both of the evenings where possible.
• Bring a light (preferably white) and a dark (preferably black) top so that players can be easily seperated into teams where neccessary.
